Original thailändische Küche, hausgemachte Speisen und Getränke in gehobener Atmosphäre.
We also wanted to test the House of Thailand based on the evaluation and recommendation in the Stuttgarter Zeitung. The restaurant was packed at 10 p.m. on Fridays, which speaks for itself. It's a very noisy ambience, and the furnishings also have a living room atmosphere. As a starter we had papaya salad. The taste is very tasty, but the amount is rather manageable above the mountain of green salad. The Tom Kha Gai soup was very, very tasty. The main courses were also delicious, but nothing special in terms of taste but rather boring. Above all, the beef extinguished with Mekhong was very uninteresting in terms of taste. In terms of price, the House of Thailand is definitely more expensive than the average. The waitresses are very nice but quite slow, for both floors and a full restaurant except for the last table were only max. 4 controls in action. Unfortunately for us it is no longer worth driving here from Möhringen.
The takeaway food tasted good but was way too oily
Fantastic! In my opinion the best Thai restaurant in Stuttgart and the region. Super nice service, fresh and very high quality food! We currently like to get takeaway food but are really looking forward to finally being able to eat there normally.
excellent Thai cuisine! ??
A wonderful place for authentic Thai cuisine! The ambience is very cozy. The service very hard-working and friendly. The katte is incredibly rich and varied. The food is superb! From very hot to not at all hot. Can also be changed on request. Apart from that, the food is also very digestible. Beschder Thai shop in Town.
We were there for a business lunch. In short, a successful evening in every respect. Great card for vegans, meat lovers, and fish connoisseurs. Fresh ingredients like you rarely experience. All of this in a very pleasant atmosphere and always accompanied by attentive service. Absolute recommendation.
WOW Hidden Loving Delicious
Very attentive service team, haven't enjoyed Thai cuisine for a long time. Great ambience and great hosts
Visited the "House of Thailand" for the first time almost 2 weeks ago. It was a fun evening and yet some criticism of the restaurant has to be made. I can only say good things about the staff. Very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The ambience is also very nice. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy that evening, but the restaurant is only primarily able to do something for that. Acoustic sails often help here. But as already mentioned, everything was really fine up to here. Unfortunately I have to be a bit tough with the menu. At the top right / left in the corners of the menu you can clearly see, based on pictures, which dish (soup, salad or main courses, based on animals) or which meat or drink it is. Why not write this as a headline for the food ?! In my opinion, clearly expandable. Although that's not that bad either. Much worse is that I ordered the number 45) Gang Bah Nua and couldn't read from the menu that it was a curry. (I don't google in the restaurant either, what kind of dish I'm going to order now.) I HATE curries. And right now. My companion ordered the number 95) Pla Saam Red. For starters we had the number 10) mixed starter platter for 2 people or more. Unfortunately I can only say "mega sad". EVERYTHING on this plate was really fried. What wasn't described in the menu. They even fried the vegetables. Why?! When our main course was brought to the table and I noticed that I had actually ordered a curry, I honestly had to turn up my nose, but still wanted to give it a chance. Strangely, this dish says online that it is very spicy. This was not on the menu on site. Would have been one less reason to choose this meal. Because unfortunately I couldn't taste anything else because of the spiciness. Well Unfortunately, the vegetables were also a single mush. From here on I completely lost my appetite. The meal of my companion, however, was super delicious. However, the fish was also fried. Everything tastes much better there. I think the House of Thailand can do more than was shown to us that evening. That's why we'll certainly give it another chance at some point. But until then I hope that the menu will be completely overhauled and maybe soups, salads, curries etc. will be clearly identified so that something like mine doesn't happen again. By the way, my food had almost not been touched, which is why the waitress politely asked me when clearing up if it wasn't tasty. I said, out of politeness, yes, but I wasn't very hungry. I think that the House of Thailand is an absolute insider tip in summer. It is located in a residential area on the Killesberg, where there is really little traffic. In addition, the outside area is very nicely designed. As I said before, we will definitely give it another try. But then in summer to be able to enjoy the outdoors.
Starters were very good. Unfortunately had to wait a long time for the main course. Service was very little at the table - both in terms of payment and drinks. Food is served in pans with separate plates - looks nice, but also gets cold very quickly on the cold plates. "Crispy duck" was unfortunately not crispy. The taste of the food was good. Unfortunately, too little performance for slightly higher prices than the classic Asian.
Very good Thai cuisine in an elegant atmosphere. We were satisfied every time.
I would love to give no star at all. The service was clean. We had an appointment with friends who came 45 minutes later in the whole time we weren't even asked if we would like to have a drink. We had to wait over 1 hour for the food! This came only after we asked twice. The plates were cleared while someone was still eating was an absolute NO GO in my opinion. It wasn't even asked if we wanted anything else, every time we had to fetch someone. At the end we were charged for a wine that we hadn't ordered. Nobody apologized for it. The food was delicious. But the service was disastrous. The staff was friendly, but the rest of the hacking is still huge. That was my first and last visit to this restaurant.
Discovered it last week. We're going there for the third time on Sunday. Delicious and beautiful. Happy
Very good thai food! Selection for vegetarians with partly fresh vegetables and very tasty sauces. It's nice to sit outside & the staff is very nice.
Eaten for a long time (vegetarian lunch table M2)! The service is very friendly and attentive. I will eat here more often! :)
I can only recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and polite. The food is delicious and truly original Thai. As I ate, I felt like I was back on a trip to Thailand.
To make it short: this is an awesome place with delicious original Thai food at the Kochenhof neighborhood in Stuttgart. We had the Panäng Nüa with extra spicy herbs and enjoyed it so much! The Chardonnay was fine and no question - the Singha beer was a top match! Thank you for having us during Corona time! It was a great pleasure an we will be back for sure!
I can only recommend this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and courteous. The food is delicious and really original Thai. When I was eating, I felt like I was back on my trip to Thailand. This is the second time I have been there and will definitely come again. Keep it up.
We have been here for a long time and it was very tasty again, apart from that, very friendly staff. I can only recommend it !!! Thanks to you ;-)
It's a nice place with good food, it's more expensive than average but that's to be expected given the location. One reason I probably won't be going back is because they don't have a kid's menu nor I they willing to do half portions for kids
Wonderful is the only word that comes to mind in all categories.
The staff was extremely kind, and that is why i give it 3 stars, because the food was much below our expectation. Too much fish sauce on the dishes. Prices are expensive for the quality of the food
Delicious food and very nice staff in an upscale atmosphere. There is something for everyone to eat. Price performance fits. Absolutely recommend to others.
By chance, we have been in the vicinity. It was very delicious!!! The restaurant was modern. The service was very accommodating. 100% recommendation
Went there going by the many good reviews. The place seemed nice but the service not so much. Took almost 40 minutes for us to just get drinks. The food then took much longer. The waiters were kind but they were clearly understaffed. The food was alright and the portions although not large were sufficient for us.
Excellent.
Super nice service. Delicious authentic food. TOP!!!
Environment, atmosphere and service definitely full 5 stars. Food is nicely prepared and served, but the amount is not much. If you still order those dishes which you can already find in an(y) Asian Imbiss, there is not much difference but the cost is surely doubled, for example, Tofu-vegetable green curry.
Beautiful thai restaurant with high Standard of good taste of thai foods in Stuttgart-Killlersberg.
